Last night was the German premiere of ‘AIDA Night of the Proms 2013’ in Cologne. Before the concert began, Morten sent a video greeting to the fans via his Facebook page:
As the headlining artist, Morten performed five songs:
Foot Of The Mountain
Stay On These Roads
Did I Leave You Behind (new song)
There Is A Place (new song)
The Sun Always Shines On TV
When his set was over, all the artists came on stage to perform ‘Hey Jude’ together, the traditional closing song.
According to a review from WDR2, Morten was ‘in top form’. They were very positive about the new song ‘There Is A Place’, and said that the audience ‘all listened spellbound’ to Morten’s performance.
At a press conference today, Morten, Amy McDonald, Mark King and the other performers agreed that “it is very special as an artist to take part in the Night of the Proms.”
